Hello!

My name is Alex Thomas, MD.

I’m a board-certified specialist in Pediatrics, Allergy and Immunology.

I’m also the son of Dr. Dolly Thomas! Growing up watching my mom help so many of her patients inspired me to follow in mother’s foot steps to pursue a career in Allergy and Immunology.

I completed my training at the University of Wisconsin and was part of the Childhood Origins of Asthma (COAST) longitudinal research project. After several years in practice at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I decided to move back to the Chicagoland area to join my mother’s practice.

I have a particular interest in patient education and create educational materials for patients and families.

In addition to asthma and allergies, I also have interests in the diagnosis and treatment of food allergy, eosinophilic esophagitis and chronic hives.
